Be My Hope is a community group that promotes social inclusion among people from the Black-African and Minority Ethnic (BME) across Surrey, who are excluded from society, or parts of society, due to their social and economic position. Our aim is to provide drop-in support and workshop services where people from the BME community can receive emotional support, 1-2-1 therapy sessions, support groups, workshops, as well as becoming an information access point where they will be signposted for welfare support or referrals. We hope our services will enable the BME community and their families across Surrey to receive the appropriate support and guidance to live fulfilling lives.

“One of the marvelous things about community is that it enables us to welcome and help people in a way we couldn't as individuals. When we pull our strength and share the work and responsibility, we can welcome many people, even those in deep distress, and perhaps help them find self-confidence and inner healing.”
